TIMBER, LOG AND MDF BUSINESS

+ Timber

Our imported quantity of sawn pine timber from New Zealand, Chile and Uruguay to supply for the local manufacturers is 25,000 m3 per year.

+ Log

We have imported round log from Malaysia to consume in the Mekong Delta (mainly in An Giang province) and some provinces in the South.

+ MDF

We are an official agent to supply local MDF of MDF VinaFor Gia Lai Company. Also, to satisty local manufacturers, we have imported MDF from Malaysia and Thailand.

* FURNITURE INDUSTRY

As a manufacturer, we have 02 enterprises located in 02 processing areas:

1) MY NGUYEN EXPORT FOREST PRODUCTS PROCESSING ENTERPRISE

2) LONG BINH TAN EXPORT WOOD PROCESSING ENTERPRISE

The total plant area of the two enterprises is 60,000 sqm with over 700 skillful workers and advanced engineers.Our monthly capacity is around 50x40' containers, depending on the models and wood requirement in production. We enforce wholly quality control through every stage of the manufacturing process ensuring that our strict standards, from designing, material selection and moisture content contrl, are met. Quality is our first priority.
Having been establishing good business relationship with the wood suppliers, we always gain initiative in raw material sources. Moreover, we plan to import wood every season ensuring that our customers will always get stable price throughout the seasons despite the fluctuation of price in material market.

FSC-C0C CERTIFICATES:
A majority of our furniture products are made of wood from sustainable and well-managed forests which are certified by Forest Stewardship Council®. The FSC-COC labels on our products allow clients to trace back the origin of our FSC® certified furniture. Since 2004, FSC® certified wood is our recommendation. Our FSC-COC license codes are FSC® - C005440 of My Nguyen Export Forest Processing Enterprise and FSC® - C005978 of VinaFor Saigon JCo - Long Binh Tan Export Wood Processing Enterprise.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Fair trading
Mutual cooperation between VINAFOR SAIGON Jco and our partners is open-minded, fair and integrated in contract terms. Bribes and similar forms are not allowed in any circumstances.

Child labour
The age of employees shall not be lower than the age for completing compulsory education, and usually not lower than 16 years old. In case the Company hire younger children, they will be safeguarded and their education and physical, psychological, social or moral development shall not be impacted.

Forced labour
Employing forced labour is prohibited in our company. Employees shall not be kept in locked premises nor shall their freedom be restricted in any other way.

Discrimination
Discrimination against any employee in respect of race, sex, religion, political opinions, social class or corresponding reason is not accepted.

Terms of employment

Employees shall be paid at least the minimum legal wage or a wage that is specified in a collective labour agreement that is binding on the employer, whichever is greater. Wages shall be paid direct to the employees.

Employee treatment and safety
A safe and healthy working environment shall be provided to employees. No employee shall be subject to any physical, psychological or sexual harassment, punishment or abuse.
